Realtors and property managers who want to shoot their own listings, understand what professional photography looks like, or reduce production costs.
Photographers in portraits, events, or other genres who want to add real estate to their client roster — one of the most consistent income streams in photography.
Every class builds on the last. By the end you have a complete shooting and business workflow.

A repeatable on-site workflow you can deliver on every property, every time, without guessing.
Lightroom and HDR workflows that produce clean, marketable images realtors will keep coming back for.
The skills to offer property measurement and floor plan delivery as a premium add-on service — few photographers offer this.
Pricing structure, outreach approach, portfolio strategy, and a client system you can start using on day one after the workshop.
Hands-on instruction in a real studio environment. Shoot real interiors, get direct feedback, and build your workflow alongside other serious students.
Join from anywhere via Google Meet. All sessions are live with the same instructor, same curriculum, and same Q&A access. Perfect if you're outside Calgary.
Daniel Haile
Co-Founder & Lead Instructor
Daniel Haile is the co-founder of ICAN Film and the lead instructor for all Academy workshops. He built his real estate media business from the ground up — learning what realtors actually pay for, what separates a working photographer from one waiting for clients, and how to build systems that scale.
His teaching approach is direct and practical. Every class session is designed around a real-world deliverable. By the time you complete the program, you'll have done the work, not just watched someone else do it.
Yes — you'll need a DSLR or mirrorless camera for hands-on practice. Class 1 includes a full guide on what gear matters and what's optional, so you're not buying equipment you don't need.
The course covers Lightroom for color correction and HDR workflows. A free trial is available if you don't have a subscription. We'll walk you through setup in the first few classes.
Yes. All sessions run live on Google Meet at the same time as the in-person class. You get full instructor access, the same digital materials, and Q&A time each session.
No prerequisites. We start from camera basics in Class 1. If you're an experienced photographer, the early classes will go quickly for you and the advanced sessions on HDR, floor plans, and business systems will add significant value.
Spots are limited to keep class sizes small and instruction quality high. Enrollment closes when the cohort fills.
